Phillip Mash Jr.
Phillip Mash is the President of Electricity and Lighting Inc and started the business in September of 1992. He has been working in the electrical field for over 43 years. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 1975. He taught his son, Phillip III, the electrical business early on and hired him at Eli shortly after graduating college. He has also since brought his son-in-law, Khristian, onto the Eli team. In his free time, Phillip enjoys spending time with his 5 grandchildren, playing golf, hunting, fishing and traveling with his wife.
Phillip Mash III
Phillip Mash III is the Vice-President of Electricity & Lighting Inc. At the age of 12, Phillip III started working summers and weekends alongside his father at Eli. He enjoyed learning how electricity worked and picked up on theory quickly. After graduating from Mountain Brook High School in 2000, Phillip earned his bachelor’s degree in business in 2005 while working for a residential contractor building houses part-time during college. After school, Phillip started working at Eli as an electrician for 3 years and has been working in the Eli office ever since. Phillip has been married to his wife, Katie since 2011 and they have 2 children, Audrey Kate 5, and Phillip IV 3. Phillip and Katie currently live in Vestavia where Katie works at Vestavia Hills Elementary West as a kindergarten teacher. Phillip is an avid outdoorsman and loves spending time with his family on the weekends.
Khristian McAlister
Khristian McAlister is Vice President of multi-family construction at Electricity and Lighting Inc. He attended Mountain Brook High School and earned a degree from Auburn University in Building Science in 2002. Upon completing school, Khristian joined the Marine Corps in 2003 and has been deployed to Iraq as a Force Recon Team Leader. He is still active in the Marine Corps Reserve. Khristian began working for Eli on weekends and summers while attending high school in 1997 and has been working for Eli in some capacity ever since.
